I saw a 15-year-old patient yesterday. Her mom was working on a Baby Surprise Sweater (there's a knitting wiki?) the whole time. She has made like a million of them. And socks. She knits like i used to.

I might have to get back into knitting.

I forget how to blog.

I cleaned my closet today & am letting go of a few UFO's...



This was supposed to be a baby bunting. It's probably been 10 years since I worked on it. Could be more. Anyway, I think I'm just going to do a bunch of seed stitch at the top, and donate it to a hospital as a teeny-tiny preemie blanket. It will do a lot more good there than in my closet.



This was my first attempt at intarsia. It was going to be a jumper for a toddler girl. It's probably 10 years since I worked on that one too. It's time.



This one is only a few years old-- I started it on a plane to Florida-- 2 years ago maybe? Anyway, I'm never going to finish it.

Maybe getting rid of the old will inspire me to work on something new. I haven't knit in ages.

See? I'm not totally slacking.

Michaels had Bernat Soy on sale for $2/ball, and I impulse bought and started a corner-to-corner afghan.

Crochet... how 'bout that?

Unfortunately, I didn't buy enough yarn-- so I will run out about 2/3 of the way through. The yarn was on clearance, so Michaels won't have any more. I'm not worried. Forethought was never my strong point. I'll figure it out.

Yeah, it's been a while. I am knitting again... crocheting too. I will post pictures when I get a chance (don't hold your breath).

In the meantime, this was too good to pass up... it's a salon & doggie spa that share the same building...

Work has gotten interesting enough that it's my hobby of late.

Good for the office, not so good for the knitting.

Just dealing with insomnia by playing with the new camera pictures-- as I suspected, the images must be too large to upload, because every time I try, I get an error message. This image was the smaller "e-mail version" created by Picasa. Hmm.. an extra step. Feh.

Yep-- camera's broken, precisely 2.5 months after the warranty expired. Unfortunately, Sam did not get a new camera in his treat bag, so Tali and I had to go camera-shopping today.

I gather from the Best Buy salesperson's perplexed look, they don't get the question "now which would take the best pictures of knitting?" too often.

12 megapixels can't be all bad (although I think the pics may be too huge to import directly to blogger!). I'll keep you posted.
