Big 10th Anniversary today-- 10 years of wedded bliss (or something like that). I'd write a sweet & sappy post here about how much I love my husband, but he doesn't read the blog, so I'll skip it. Suffice it to say that he's a good egg. I'll keep him.

We kicked off the celebrations by moving Tali from her co-sleeper into a crib in Sam's room.

She seemed happy enough in her new digs...

And Sam is happy too-- he has someone to keep him company upstairs, and help him ward off the evil giant zebra he dreamed about the other night.

Knitting pictures soon-- I've made a whole entire sweater since I last posted.

At some point in the chaos, my boy turned four.

He woke up Friday and got his present from Mommy, Daddy, and Tali-- a Fisher Price Digital Camera. He wanted to use it right away--

On Friday he celebrated with cupcakes at camp, and we celebrated again when he got home. I asked him what he wanted for his birthday dinner. He said he wanted the whole family to eat in the living room in front of the TV. So we did.

On Saturday, we had our family party, complete with the usual family ridiculousness. I made (& Sue decorated) a really great cake-- it's "Little Einsteins" if you're not familiar with 7:30 a.m. Disney Channel television.

In addition to being cute, it was rather delicious. I also bought a second cake at Vegan Treats, for Grammy and Colin who are celebrating birthdays today. Well, since one cake looked home made, and the other looked like it came from a bakery, the family decided that the home made cake must be vegan (oh the horror) and made a big production over all wanting the "real" cake (which was for the record quite equally vegan). Grr.

But ridiculousness aside, and despite the fact that an awful lot of the people in the family seem to be different than the people who were in the family when I turned 4, it was very nice. Sam got lots of great presents & aside from the vegan cake issue and the missing Sweet & Lo, everyone seemed to have fun.

Sunday, we had a party for his friends. We ended up with about 20 kids at MyGym (should I be concerned that my kid has way more friends than I do?). The teachers there really did a great job of including all the kids, but also having a few little extra things that made Sam feel very special. He loved it!

Happy 4th Birthday Sam!

(PS. Hi Maggie & other Thursday knitting ladies! Life is crazy-- I'll get out there one of these weeks!)

What's cuter than a Child's Placket Neck Sweater???

Two Placket Neck Sweaters!

They need to be washed and blocked just a bit, and then they'll be en route to San Diego for Lori's twinsies!

More baby knitting to come...
