Finished the ribbing, plus a few rows on Sock 2. I really like making socks! Current project is packing for Chicago and getting ourselves and Sam on a plane... I'll bring the sock, but am not sure how much time I'll have to knit...

Sam was CRANKY yesterday & cried on and off for the better part of the afternoon... so not much opportunity to knit. After he FINALLY went to sleep, I managed to get started on Sock #2... I only got about an inch done, but at least it's started. I'm finding it much more fun the second time around. I'm planning to use the leftover yarn to make matching socks for Sam, who seems to be feeling much better today.

I was in a rut of quickie simple projects & cheap yarn... even did a couple of crochet blankets. I discovered knitting blogs a couple of weeks ago, and was quickly addicted. I am inspired! I decided to try my hand at knitting socks (sock #1 is done, just need to figure out how to post a picture), and can't wait to try my first Booga Bag, and attempt Fair Isle. It feels good to have a challenging project back in my hands again-- maybe I'll even finish some of the things languishing in the cabinet of unfinished projects.
